What the check looks for
The report uses deterministic document and style checks. It does not ask an AI model to interpret your writing.

- Zero-size or invisible HTML text
- Simple off-screen HTML text
Why check
Review what readers may not see.
Copied templates, reviewer files, and generated documents can carry instructions or metadata that are easy to miss visually. A local static check gives you evidence before the manuscript enters another system.
Important limit
A clean result is not a guarantee. PDF is a complex visual format, DOCX may inherit theme styles, and HTML can load external CSS. tryb.dev reports what its supported static checks can prove and labels partial coverage.

Does a clean result prove the file is safe?
No. It means the supported checks found no matching hidden-text pattern. Complex layout, images, external styles, and every PDF rendering feature are not fully evaluated.
